- Art History is a main subject of the school program. It is an adventure into the beautiful world of ancient civilizations, great cultures and famous artists. Each Art History class will begin with a short lecture followed by a related art project, which promote child's higher thinking and learning skills. Students will work with different materials: pencil, pastel, watercolor, tempera, acrylic and oil, which will help them, explore their artistic possibilities.
- Special courses based on clients needs. Valeria & Kids Art School provides art education to all ages and skill levels from pre-school through adult. You are welcome to join our program, which includes subjects like Art History, Classical Drawing & Painting, Graphics and Animation. We strive to guide our students to approach drawing in two ways - how to "look at" the object and to "think" about how to draw the object. We focus on the development of a child's visual conception, imagination and sensibility for art. Students will be teaching the fundamentals of art culture and history, different art techniques, concepts of drawing and painting such as composition, perspective, dimension, shading, color theory and more.
- Small classes, personal attention to a student, which will help to improve not only artistic but also reading & writing skills, develop creativity and logic.
- Art therapy classes for adults. Art has a power to heal and help to get out from stresses. Valeria & Kids Art School has a special program for adults & seniors of recovering from stress and pain.

Valeria and Kids Art School provides art training to children and adults based on age groups and different levels of art education. School offers opportunities to everyone to open and build their artistic abilities, and discover beautiful world of art through education. We provide quality of education in different areas of art: Art history and art foundation (painting, drawing and animation). Art education help to build not only artistic skills but also reading and writing skills and develop creativity and logic. Art foundation is the first level for post-secondary education and profession disciplines such as: animation, multi-media, graphic design, fashion design and etc.

The Founder
Valeria Kouznetsova has been an art teacher for almost 8 years. She started to work as an art teacher back to her home - Moscow, Russia. She graduated from Moscow Architectural University and has a diploma in Art & Architecture and a degree in Art History. She also received the post degree diploma in animation here in Toronto, Canada. Valeria has high level of expertise in different field of art: drawing & painting; graphics; animation and art history. Valeria has a very good relationship with children, she is funny and friendly and kids like to work with her. |
