Valeria Kouznetsova is an art teacher and the founder of the Radiant Art Studio. The studio was openned in 2000.
Valeria graduated from Moscow Architectural University with Bachelor Degree in Fine Art and Architecture. She specialized in history of art and architecture. In 1996 she moved to Canada and opened the art studio, where she was giving art classes for children and adults.
In 2012 Valeria received her post degree diploma in ABA (Apply Behavior Analysis) and started to work with children with special needs. She also accomplished course “The Art of trauma”, which uses the basic principles and practice of art therapy and expressive arts. Valeria completed meditative art seminars in New York and Moscow, which gives her ability to use meditative art techniques at her work. Valeria also teaches art in Montessori school and few private schools.
In 2016 she joined the team of Art at Heart no-profit organization which is dedicated to bring the creative arts to hospital patients.
As an artist Valeria works with different media, but mostly with acrylic and her varied works were displayed in different art shows.
She studied traditional iconography with the Russian Orthodox church in Toronto, trying to blend her fine artistic skills with the discipline and humble work of iconography. She also accomplished the Art Doll Making course in Toronto and Moscow and started to give art doll making classes to the students.
